Alaska State Council on the Arts Website Redesign

Exemplifi redesigned the website for the Alaska State Council on the Arts into a visually stunning platform that delivers an exceptional user experience. The site features a directory of various grants, a dedicated page for the Alaska Contemporary Art Bank (ACAB) showcasing contemporary art, and a section for art competitions that recognize excellence in artistry. The website is highly structured, with clear information architecture offering seamless navigation and content that introduces art and artists to the world while guiding the artists towards the fellowships and grants offered to support and reward their contributions. Images representing the rich cultural heritage and artistic expressions of Alaska's Native people are included throughout the site, along with vibrant colors used to enhance the website's aesthetic appeal, creating an engaging experience. Accessibility is a core focus of this project, ensuring that art and culture are accessible to everyone. The website complies with widely accepted WCAG guidelines, earning an AA rating. Exemplifi delivered an appealing website that precisely represents the Arts Council of Alaska.
