Kroll, a global leader in financial and risk advisory services, embarked on a large-scale digital transformation to modernize its global web experience and better support its expanding portfolio of services and geographies. With over 6,500 professionals worldwide, Kroll required a digital platform that could match its scale, enhance discoverability, and empower marketing teams to move faster in a highly competitive advisory landscape. Kroll’s legacy website, built on a monolithic Sitecore XP architecture, had become a barrier to growth. Fragmented content structures, inconsistent regional experiences, and developer-dependent publishing workflows limited marketing agility and slowed campaign execution. Additionally, poor navigation and limited search capabilities reduced user engagement and hindered lead generation, making it difficult for visitors to quickly find relevant expertise and services. To address these challenges, Kroll partnered with Altudo to reimagine its digital ecosystem using a modern, SaaS-first approach. The solution centered on migrating to Sitecore XM Cloud and adopting a headless architecture powered by Next.js and deployed on Vercel. This future-ready setup delivered significant gains in performance, scalability, and flexibility while reducing operational complexity. Altudo designed and implemented a modular component library using Sitecore Headless SXA, enabling marketing teams to independently create, manage, and optimize content without relying on development teams. A redesigned, intent-driven information architecture simplified navigation across services, industries, and regions, ensuring users could access relevant information quickly and intuitively. Integration with Sitecore Search further enhanced discoverability by surfacing the most relevant content based on user intent. The transformation also established consistent brand experiences across global and regional sites, creating a unified digital foundation that supports long-term growth and governance. As a result, Kroll is projected to achieve a 15–25% increase in qualified leads, 20%+ improvement in session duration, 30–40% faster publishing cycles, and a notable reduction in bounce rates. Overall, Kroll’s digital transformation with Altudo demonstrates how composable, headless architecture and marketing empowerment can drive measurable business impact, positioning the organization for sustained growth and innovation in the digital era.
