The Inn at Riverwalk is an independent boutique hotel in Edwards, CO, offering guests an intimate mountain-valley retreat on the Eagle River. Knwon for its warm hospitality and prime Vail Valley location, it has long served as a favorite for family getaways and adventure escapes. In 2024, Colvita Creative joined forces with White Whale Web to reimagine the hotel’s digital front door—designing a website that honors personalized service while making trip planning and booking seamless. Mobile-First, Guest-Centered Design Recognizing that most travelers research and book on the go, we prioritized a mobile-first approach. From the moment users land on the homepage, prominent “Book Now” buttons on each room/condo page enable one-tap access to TravelClick (iHotelier) reservations. Fresh, on-brand photography and clear labels ensure guests immediately understand their accommodation options without extra navigation. Engaging Content & Local Exploration to showcase Vail Valley’s treasures, we developed a custom, filterable map powered by Google Maps. Visitors can filter nearby dining, shopping, trails, wine & spirits, family-friendly spots—even dog-friendly activities—and then zoom, share, or get directions with a single tap. Our redesigned blog features category filters and “Subscribe” callouts that turn casual browsers into engaged subscribers, driving repeat visits and community building. Technical & SEO Excellence Behind the scenes, room and condo inventories are managed as distinct CMS content types, giving the marketing team instant update capabilities. We integrated an industry-leading SEO plugin and implemented JSON-LD schemas for Hotel, Breadcrumb, and Article to boost organic visibility for key searches like “Edwards CO boutique hotel” and “Vail Valley lodging.” Performance optimizations, responsive images, and accessible design ensure fast, inclusive experiences for all users. Since the site launched on February 4, 2025, it has: • Increased direct booking completions by 18% • Grown average time on site by 35%, driven by interactive maps and rich content • Entered Google’s top-5 for targeted local keywords • Driven a 15% jump in monthly newsletter subscriptions With this redesign, The Inn at Riverwalk now has a digital platform that mirrors its commitment to warm hospitality, local discovery, and effortless guest experiences—bringing “traveling, INN Style” to every visitor online.
