A brand identity was designed and created for Masgouf Restaurant in Kuwait, which is located at the largest and most prestigious shopping mall in the country, the Avenues Mall. The logo is an existing logo from an international franchise and I designed the brand identity for Masgouf Restaurant in Kuwait. The brand identity includes Babylonian-Sumerian ancient scripture and spells out the name of the restaurant "Masgouf" repeatedly to create a pattern resembling that of the ancient scripture. "Masgouf" is known as a special way in which fish is cooked so I created a pattern of fish scales and added a metallic tone to represent fish in the brand identity. These elements are blended together into a design that represents the brand at its core and is intriguing to the eye. The brand identity was implemented on various collateral and products including the brand's corporate identity (business cards, letterheads, envelopes), paper bags, wet towels packaging, take-out containers, and continues to be implemented on other collateral as well.
